As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in solving client problems through structured analysis, creative thinking, and collaborative delivery. You’ll contribute to client engagements from design through to implementation, using a logical, outcomes-focused approach while working closely with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support and independently lead key workstreams within consulting projects, delivering high-quality outputs to time and budget.
Flexibility to lead and support on a range of projects, including ones outside core specialism
Develop structured, practical solutions to client problems, grounded in data and aligned to broader programme goals.
Independently translate strategic direction into tangible action plans that drive measurable outcomes.
Ability to build strong relationships and communicate with clients at all levels of an organisation, including senior leadership.
Contribute to the creation of client deliverables, such as presentations, reports, and implementation plans.
Work independently on assigned tasks while knowing when to seek input or escalate issues.
Use strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret data and shape recommendations.
Identify when specialist expertise is needed and coordinate effectively with other team members.
Balance client delivery with internal contributions, such as supporting practice development or mentoring peers.
Essential Experience & Skills
Min. 5 years consulting or business experience
Management consulting background or equivalent experience in a problem-solving, client-facing environment.
Academic background in a STEM discipline or Economics, with a structured approach to thinking and delivery.
Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor style to different audiences.
Excellent analytical and numeracy skills—comfortable working with and drawing insights from data.
Experience delivering projects with clear outcomes; strong awareness of project and time management.
Ability to manage competing priorities and focus on what matters most without close supervision.
High attention to detail and the ability to spot issues or inconsistencies in deliverables.
A collaborative team player who contributes to group success without a ‘hero’ mentality.
Commercial awareness and curiosity about client industries, trends, and emerging solutions.
